A little idle game about saving penalties. 

Hover over keepers to select them. Click to dive in that direction. Each shot saved gives you money.

Buy more keepers, better keepers, automatic keepers, and keep resetting until you reach level 10!

What's "Super Sub"?

I am working on a bigger "Super Sub" game that will be my first ("professional") Steam release. That game is Super Sub: World Cup.

While working on World Cup, though, I had this idea for a tiny penalty shootout game. 

(I actually had like five ideas for football-inspired games, which is why I started collecting them under the Super Sub banner. This game doesn't have substitutions, though, but I kept the name anyway.)

I thought it might be fun, and I had the assets anyway, so I made it! I also wanted to teach myself how to program common idler mechanics. I thought maybe I could use some of the lessons learned in the bigger game.

Let me know if anything is broken or stupid or weird. As stated, I made this silly game to improve my skills and general framework, so any improvements here will also improve my upcoming games.

Anything else?

The game is active to passive, which is my favorite type. You'll have to manually do some athletic goalkeeping at the start, but later on you'll pretty much exclusively rely on your automatic keepers to do it.

The game also contains an Endless Mode and Golden Glove mode (you have three lives; each ball scored takes away a life)

It's playable with mouse, keyboard, and controller. Though mouse is probably recommended.

You can save your progress by pressing "Save & Quit". (It tries to auto-save after each upgrade, but that's unfortunately unreliable in the browser...) You get 4 save slots. There are some settings to tweak the experience too. I tried to write some funny credits when you beat the game, as always.

I think that's all. It's really just a tiny toy I made over the weekend.
